Diaphonique Alumni Club

The Diaphonique Alumni Club brings together all the artists and partners who have been supported by the programme since its creation. It exists to celebrate past projects, foster new connections, and keep the Diaphonique community alive and active across France, the UK and Ireland.

Over the years, Diaphonique has supported dozens of collaborations that have shaped the contemporary music landscape. The Alumni Club ensures these projects continue to resonate by offering dedicated visibility, opportunities to reconnect and the possibility to build new artistic relationships.

What the Alumni Club does

The Alumni Club highlights former laureates throughout the year through interviews, project spotlights and shared news across our digital platforms. Soon, a growing online archive allows visitors to explore past works, revisit premieres and follow the artistic journeys of our alumni.

We also encourage exchanges within the community through informal meetups, a light-touch peer-support network and an opt-in directory that helps artists find advice, partners or contacts across borders.

What we aim to do better

As the programme evolves, we are strengthening our long-term relationship with alumni by offering clearer pathways to stay engaged, more regular communication and new opportunities for visibility. We are also developing tools to connect former laureates to one another and to new generations of Diaphonique - supported artists, from informal mentorship to small “reconnect” initiatives designed to spark new collaborations.

The Alumni Club grows with the community it serves. All former laureates are warmly encouraged to stay in touch, share updates, and take part in shaping a vibrant cross-Channel and cross-country network of contemporary music makers.
