Notre Dame Reimagined : le Remède de Fortune
CONCERT | TOUR | RESIDENCYIn Notre Dame Reimagined, the cathedral becomes an instrument of transformation: medieval polyphony, AI, immersive sound and digital scenography converge in a Gothic phantasmagoria. Inspired by Machaut and the connections between courtly love and al-Andalus, french and UK composer-performer-visual artists, collaborate with Palestinian oud player & composer Habib Hanna Shehadeh to create a new audio-visual work where history fractures & Arabic musical memory resonates through the walls.
"We are enormously greatful to Diaphonique, whose support makes it possible to realise a project that exists between composition, research and technological experimentation. It enables us to bring together artists from different disciplines and cultural traditions to create new work inspired by Notre-Dame, not as a monument to the past, but as a living space for contemporary imagination and exchange."
