Gestes et Fascinations

Les Signes de l’Arc

CONCERT | COMMISSION

“Gestes et fascinations” is a project that reinvents harp playing as a multi-dimensional sound space, with sounds and gestures circulating from one performer to the next. A sound choreography is developed for 3 harps, punctuated by percussion and voice, in the form of a staged concert. The aim is to develop the 3-harp repertoire by commissioning works from composers such as Garth Knox (UK).

Three harps, a few small percussion instruments and a Vietnamese zither (the tranh) make up this almost unprecedented group, for which the skilled musicians have every intention of putting together a repertoire.
